DISTRICT 901 GYM & FITNESS

District 901 Gym is committed to the provide an environment where anyone can be comfortable.  In providing a diverse active lifestyle we do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of Individuals’ differences in age, color, abilities, ethnicity, family or marital status, race, religion, veteran status, and other characteristics that make each individual unique.

The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to protect members, staff and participants while being committed at District 901 Gym. Being said, it is expected that everyone behaves in a mature and responsible manner while respecting the rights of others.

Members, participants, guests, volunteers, staff and management of District 901 Gym agrees to uphold the following Code of Conduct:

 

PERSONAL CONDUCT

Members must conduct themselves in a controlled and reasonable manner at all times. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or unsafe by District 901 Gym staff may result in termination of membership.  Members/Participants are expected to conform to all regulations whether staff or not staffed.  Those who are present when a violation occurs and chooses to not intervene or report the situation may be considered a participant of the violation and disciplined accordingly.

1. Posting derogatory comments on social platforms or in the gym does not align with District 901 Gym and is not acceptable.

2. Sexual activity and misconduct is forbidden and will not be tolerated.

3. Use of foul, loud or abusive language is prohibited.  Harassment of other members, guest, visitors, tenants or members of staff by words, gestures, body language, use of social media or other behaviors will not be tolerated.  Failure to comply can result in termination or suspension which holds zero tolerance 

4. Members with 24/7 access cannot grant access to other individuals, even if they are District 901 Gym members and known to you. Granting access to another individual will result in the member losing 24/7 access and possible termination of their District 901 Gym membership. Members that grant access will be charged and prosecuted with theft with a minimum fine of $500.  The individual accessing 24/7 without the proper membership will be prosecuted for trespassing.

 

USE OF FACILITIES

Members must comply with all District 901 Gym rules and regulations, which are subject to change.  Members must use the facilities and equipment as intended.   District 901 Gym does not provide supervision, instruction or assistance for the use of the facilities and equipment unless explicitly stated.  Members are responsible for their own safety and well-being while using the gym facilities.

 

1. Theft or behavior that results in the destruction of property will not be tolerated. Each person is legally and financially responsible for any removal, defacing or damage to public or private property. This includes but is not limited to the property of participants, advisors and staff.

 

1. Property or materials in any facility must not be removed or tampered with in any manner.

2. District 901 Gym is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Members are encouraged to secure their belongings.

 

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is available to individuals who are at least 18 years old. Minors may be allowed membership with parental consent and under specific terms set by District 901 Gym. Members must provide picture identification and provide accurate, current, and complete information.

 

1. You must have a photo taken to put against your account when signing up to a membership. Please bring an OFFICIAL FORM OF ID when signing up. This can be your PASSPORT or ID DOCUMENT. Please also ensure you bring current payment details. We do not take cash payments for memberships, so you either need to provide BANK or VALID BANK CARD details to setup your membership.

2. Membership fees are due monthly or annually, depending on the membership plan chosen. All payments are automatically charged to the member’s provided payment method on the due date. 

3. Membership fees are non-refundable. If a payment is declined, the member will be notified and must provide an alternative payment method. Access to District 901 Gym will be halted until payment is made.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

1. Annual contracts may NOT be canceled/terminated prior to end of term. Recurring month-to-month contracts can be canceled up to 5 days before the next month's payment date. To cancel, members must provide notice to District 901 Gym via email at least 5 business days before the next billing cycle. 

2. Cancellations REQUIRE notice to be in writing (email is acceptable) to District 901 Gym.  Email - Staff@District901Gym.com.

3. If a participant has a significant discipline issue or violation of the Code of Conduct, District 901 Gyms reserves the right to dismiss the participant, without refund, for the remainder of the session.

 

HEALTH AND SAFETY

1. Members agree not to use the gym facilities if they have any communicable diseases, infections, or illnesses that pose a risk to others. Members must adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including those related to virus exposure and prevention.

2. Please inform your club if there are any changes in your medical condition that might affect your ability to train safely.

3. If you begin to feel unwell and experience symptoms such as acute pain, dizziness, sudden headache, or chest pain, stop exercising immediately & inform a staff member. If no staff member is available, please use one of the emergency buttons located throughout the club.

4. Pets (other than guide dogs) are not permitted at District 901 Gym.

5. You may not bring alcohol or drugs into  any part of the facility at anytime.

6. Smoking and or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the club premises.

 

AGREEMENT

By purchasing a membership members agree to these terms and conditions, the liability waiver, and gym rules. The member's typed name is as valid and enforceable as a written signature, and the member consents to be bound by this agreement.

1. District 901 Gym reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes via email or posted within the gym.
