Now Offering Yoga

Yoga classes will be available Wednesday nights at 5pm starting February 5th. Matt's Yoga classes at District 901 are designed for avid gym-goers that are athletes, bodybuilders & individuals that want to improve their flexibility & strength. Classes are for ALL fitness & yoga levels. Classes include Yoga poses, Yoga sequences, ab exercises & glute work. Various props (resistance bands, blocks, weight plates) are utilized during class to increase intensity of poses & exercises. 

About the Instructor 

Matt has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past fourteen years across the country. He is excited to bring his experience to the District 901 Gym & Fitness Members. Matt first started taking Yoga in high school as a gym credit and studied Yoga in college and began teaching in the gyms and Yoga studios after graduation. He has taught Vinyasa, Iyengar, Restorative & Power Yoga. Matt's passions include working & volunteering with our sheltered populations at Salvation Army La Crosse & the Warming Center. Matt has been volunteering with the Coulee Recovery Center since 2019 and leads recovery meetings & workshops for the La Crosse sober community.
